Used s550 good idea?
Hey i really want an S550 but just don't want to spend 100k+ on a car i am wondering if it's worth getting a CPO S550, they seem to be at least 30k cheaper. Any advice thank you.

sure! i would trust it in a heart beat. bought mine new a year ago - have 10,000 miles on it. only one problem (airmatic failure) and covered under warranty. these are great cars and the quality is back. do it without hesitation subject to the normal precautionary checks!

I just bought an 07 CPO with around 13k miles. The car is in pristine condition and runs flawlessly. i was told that when they certified it, they also fixed up any scuffs on the wheels and basically replaced any part that looked worn or damaged. It essentially feels like a new car, but just 30k cheaper. Plus, since it's CPO, the warranty is also extended. I actually feel a better about buying CPO instead of new, since there's less chance of little gremlins popping up right away. Just on these forums Ive read alot of stories where people buy new cars only to take them back to the service dept a month later. When I was shopping around, the CPO cars weren't really priced any higher than the regular ones...so to me it seemed like a no-brainer.
