Tim Russert

I know this is not the place but I feel the urge to mention that we should place our prayers and thoughts to the family and industry of media towards Tim Russert. He will be missed. I personally knew Tim and he was a very fine individual and I will never forget him. He loved his family, his faith, Buffalo team, and I will always remember the times I spent with him. He will be missed.

I read about it about an hour ago. My parents were shocked as well. He was way too young. We'll keep in our thoughts.

Sorry to hear of your loss, trumpet....

Don't follow politics/political media closely, but from all accts Tim sounded to be a rather decent gentleman....and much admired by those in both parties....

Great post Trumpet1. I didn't know him but learned a lot from him over the years. Looked forward to watching him every Sunday for at least the past decade. He sat 2 rows in front of me at Wizards games. I met him once in 2000, the day my children were born. He was in Georgetown Univ Hospital for a Church service. He was very friendly and very genuine.
