This S550 had Breden CO3s 22x9" fronts and 22x10.5" rears with brushed centers and the reversed rivet option.

Wow!
How do you get those side air dams into the body panel like that? Is that a whole new side panel? If so, then at what point does the car cease to be "original", and wouldn't the structural integrity of the body be compromised?

The car has the Lorinser body kit. It's a whole new panel.

The car looks awesome - actually I like the body kit a lot, but..... it doesn't look like just the 2 panels above the front wheels can be swapped out - the panel goes all the way above the front doors. I wonder why MB with all the technology and $$ would not be able to come up with an aggressive design like that

When I see this shot .. https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...6&d=1217616466 I think man that car looks under-braked... How much additional rotational inertia are you adding to the stock setup? Maybe it's my technical background, but I would only put 22's on the AMG'd brake-i-fied version of the S.

Lol I would but then if you import it to Australia I would have to ruin it by sticking a giant yellow "WARNING! LEFT HAND DRIVE VEHICLE" sticker on the back of it that is about 3 feet long and reflective. I think it would clash a bit with the paint work lol.
