2005 S500
2008 S550 4matic

Hey wats up guys, so the leaase on my S500 is ending in 2 weeks and went to my dealer to get another car. Unfortuantly c63s are not available. So i had to choose an s550. Its silver/black and has every option except distronic. The total of the car comes to 141,100. The lease rate came up for 2400 a month. So my dad was like f that. So our dealer gave us 20,000 dollars off, and cut our lease payment to $1,869 inc tax, which is cheaper than what we are paying for a 2005 S 500 that only has parktronic.

So what do you guys think? Good deal or not?

Huh? $141,100 for an S550 - even with most options is nowhere near $141,100. (In the US at least) That pricing is S63/S600 territory. Not sure what $$$ you are talking about though. What country are you in?

Ah got it - the US does not own the $ sign of course!

Proportionally speaking, if you got CAN$20,000 off that $141,100 then you have got a loaded S550 (minus distronics) for less than the base price. That seems pretty reasonable and in line with similar discounts south of the 49th.
