I am not sure if I can tolerate the aniline leather after trying the natural leather

Yes, but the reason why EPA ratings are pointless is that they try to anticipate drivers' habits and lead people to expect figures that have faulty basis.

On the other hand, the EU ratings show the capability of the car on the highway, so people know what the true max is, and the other ratings are then more "EPA" like.
