I guess, it really comes down to numbers:
The MSRP on my car back in April was $103,630. 4 months and 1300 miles later, you'd be getting that same car for around $81,000 (based on the price Ewing gave you). The question is - can you get a new 2008 Black/SavannaCashmere (with AMG sports pak/P3/iPod/Wood Steering) for slightly more?
Actually, a better way of looking at it is that you shouldn't pay more than $78,000 for my car. If you can get a new 2008 (same options) for around $84 or 85k I'd take the new 2008. If you can get a similar 2009 one for $88 - $90k, it now becomes a thorny situation: you're getting current yr. model but for $10-$12k more.........Do you want to put that 10-12k down on my car, or go with $0 down on the 2009?
