Well looking at AustinGuy's 2008 S550 got me the bug for a Black vehicle, I had been trying to work a deal on his trade in vehicle and believe it or not I was able to make a deal on a brand new one 2008 Black/Savanna with P3 for the same price they was trying to sell the used one for. Believe me they are working some incredible deals on these new 2008 models, I was skeptical as well of all the members saying what some of these cars was being discounted at, but now I see.

 

So... Are you going to share that number with us?

Congratulations Haze......

Hope you're not in too much of a haze now that you have a new car. I was going to tell you that buying my car would not make much sense if you would be able to work out a good deal on an 09. If you got a new 08 for the same price as my used 08, then great!

One thing I wanted to tell you was to beware of Ewing. As you know, I'm currently battling them to make up for my S63 oil leak gaffe....... and as RajWany said, they seem to be a "make-a-quick-buck" type of dealership.....

As you know they can make the numbers look any way they want especially if you have a trade.
Well price of unit was 84957.71
Truthfully I was like 8k upside down in my trade, so bottom line I was alittle over 95.5k out the door.
I look at that as not all all bad on a car with an msrp of 101,680.
By the way I traded in a 07 S550 with about 41k on the clock.
All in all I'm pretty happy, I just took it in the short in my 07 with depreciation.

 

AustinGuy I'll have to fire up the camera, just picture your old one stock.
Buying the new one was the right call, I ended up after doing negotiations for both paying about $300.00 more for the new one, can you believe that.
I will beware of Ewing because I bought my previous one from ParkPlace, I called them or they called me prior to me closing the deal, I went over my terms with the car at Ewing, and they told me they couldn't touch the price, they wanted to charge me 4 grand more for the same ride.
Hopefully I want have any issues, if I do I'll just take it to ParkPlace for service.

I owed like 6600 on my car and they gave me 5800, like i said they can write it up anyway the like, I was only concerned abot the actual drive out price with my trade. I went to Park Place off Lemon, they couldn't do the deal, I went with Claude Bradford at Ewing and he got it done, my salesperson from ParkPlace where I bought my 07 said I hate to lose you as a customer and told me that Ewing was taking a loss of about 3-4k, of course I know the dealer never really losses.
