Terrorist Proof Luxury Car Available from Mercedes - The S 600 Pullman Guard
Mercedes-Benz offers High Protection and Highest Protection
Mercedes-Benz uses this know-how acquired over many years to provide answers to different risk scenarios all over the world, offering Mercedes-Benz Guard models with various resistance levels in accordance with the European standard.
High-Protection vehicles, engineered to the European B4 resistance level, resist large-calibre revolver ammunition and offer particularly good protection against the increasing threat of drug-related and violent street crime.
Highest-Protection vehicles, engineered to resistance level B6/B7, provide effective protection against the threat posed by terrorist attacks. Their armour is designed to resist rifle-launched projectiles from military weapons which have a velocity almost twice that of bullets fired from a revolver. They also offer resistance to shrapnel from hand grenades and explosive charges.

A Unique Tradition Of Building Special-Protection Vehicles
Looks like eMercedesBenz is covering every aspect of the S 600 Guardian, so here is a link to their history coverage.
The first special-protection models from Mercedes-Benz differed from those of later years not only with regard to their design and performance, but also in terms of their technical basis. Instead of having a self-supporting body structure, which is now the norm, their bodies were mounted on strong frames. The weight of the protective steel plates therefore called for less extensive design changes than is currently the case.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Armored cars are such a classic 3rd World phenomenon....one prob has larger quality of life "issues" if feel need for armored cars/drivers/security details...
In Manhattan, US' closest version of a 3rdWorld city, many billionaires are driven around in scuffed-up S550s...and have no security detail....their biggest security risks are compromised active safety b/c of the inept guy driving the S550 (they don't hand those jobs out to just anyone)....and the rear seats' lack of active head restraints to reduce odds of whiplash injury if rear-ended...
In SiliconValley, many titans routinely drive self (w/no security detail) via S65 or some other AMG....
