We both know that there are many features in that picture that you can use to figure out its an S-Class.

(Yes I know that was a joke)

Yeah, Ok, but it still looks like this car is no longer than a Smart car. Why do you keep taking pictures of it from the inside? You should've taken that one from the side (if possible).

Not that I don't believe you. It's just funny how your camera makes the car look so short. I may go out and look at my car from that angle. Got me wondering now.

After going out and looking at my car from that angle, it does look short.

Black cars are even more prone to appear that way I guess.

Thanks Guppy, looks like my car. Very nice. You didn't just take those pix a few minutes ago just for me did you??

I'm just as impressed with that clean garage too.

Ok , folks. I caught Guppy in action and his other username is Saveras ( I may have it misspelled as he deleted the replying post so fast I couldn't get back to it)? Obviously he realized he used his original username in the reply and then quickly deleted it. I saw your replying post to me and within seconds it disappeared. Is that your original username??? Also, you said you just took those pictures for me. It's getting very dark in the lower 48 states and in your picture you either have one hell of a full moon outside or you live in Korea. But I did in fact see your original username pop up replying to me and apparently you realized your mistake and deleted the post.

Sorry, but I caught you. I'm not saying you don't own the car in the picture but you messed up. So should we let WSH in on who is after him?

I don't know you and I don't personally have anything against you but let's be honest on this forum and stop the crazy juvenile stuff.

This is the post that was for a very brief moment on the forum but it was not guppy's username at the top of it, instead it was Saveras (or something similar). I have seen it in the past but I'm not that desperate to go looking around for it nor do I feel like dragging this out.

Alright, well you're either trying to start some more drama on here, or you're smoking something.

But, tell us Guppy, how do we know its "your" S, any more than we would know a picture would be WSH's? Tell us your real name and VIN and I'm sure someone will check it out. And check with the real owner.

I suspect WSH is a poseur, too, but I also think his silence and dignity has totally outgunned you in this matter.

So, why don't you grow up, accept the internet for what it is..... and then FO, preferably to to a BMW site.

I saw this earlier today. I have to ask: What is the deal with the douchiness, vaginal, nit-picking, kiddie threads as of late?

Guys, come on. Guppy stop. Post something better than this, I am getting tired of seeing these types of threads. I think many others are as well.

Guppy, if it's your car cool. If you wish to post proof, post it up and not next week. If WSH never answers, he may actually be busy working or skirt chasing. IDK, but IMO this thread should be dropped.

No insult toward anyone.

My real name and VIN # on a public site accessible by anyone in the world.
Very good idea.

Getting hung up on pictures as proof of ownership is ridiculous.. all anyone here has to do is contribute constructive posts on their day to day experience of our cars... no one can keep up a pretense over 50 or 100 posts... (Or if you can your research is so good that you are a worthy contributor anyway) All of us as S-Class owners are pretty sensitive to the slightest discrepancy that varies from our own experience... So lets talk about our cars and terminate these childish threads... please!

I know I saw what I saw. My advice for Guppy is to stop posting as Guppy and Saveras (or whatever, I know I'm very close on that name), and just log on as another username and start over.
I actually didn't want to participate much in this thread in the arguing portion of it as I was more into the picture element of the thread. I just like pictures of S classes because I like to see the variances in everyone's cars and lo and behold in the process of doing this, I caught his error.

I would rather not have an enemy here.

I would rather Guppy just stop posting as Guppy , log up a new username, and stay with us. I hope everyone else agrees with me on this.

Cheers,

I'm getting less interested but my wife is getting more interested in this thread!! What does that say guys??? So for her entertainment she brought up a good point. If I was going to post pics of my car I would make sure it was fully detailed and get some great pics outside with maybe some great scenery behind! Who would take pictures in their garage?? Maybe unlesss they couldn't drive it!

Chris I totally understand your point. But I also want to know who I'm talking to. If I feel like its not a real I will question it.

Enough Useless Banter!

Are our cars so perfect that this forum has been reduced to this useless banter! Who cares if WSH is actually driving what he say he is or if Guppy really has an S550 or if its just a cardboard cut-out that he mistakenly placed to close to the wall??

This forum is meant to share information, experience and opinion on the W221 model S-class. In the past, there has been a lot of good information shared here that has helped many of us. I suggest we keep our focus on posting questions and insights that are useful to our community and refrain from threads like this one which are of no value.

I sure the heck hope so. I want to get back to talking Mercedes-Benz!
The website is MBWorld Discussion Forums. Not MySpace or Facebook.

I just took my wife's C350 SFA edition in for her first oil change and it checked out fine. While there, I got to drive a C63! This thing is FAST! I'm not so sure it wouldn't outrun my 600.

I also got to test drive an 08 SL65 AMG with only 4000 miles on it for $129K. So if anyone is interested in one, let me know. A $200K car , driven only by the dealership owner, and for $70K off of list. Very tempting for me.
