are there other differences in a 2009 vs 2010 s550 besides the the facelift.
i am interested in putting down an order. Its time to retire our w140 though it only has 185000 miles on it.

The 2010 will have newer technologies unavailable to the 09's.

 

The MY10 221 facelift is expected to include all of the technology which is being introduced on the new E-Class. There may even be some new items in addition to what is expected. I would guess if you want to order a car you will likely have to order a MY10 as the production change is usually mid-year. That being said, there are amazing deals on the MY09s so the choice is between a great deal on the MY09 or wait and order an MY10. You can be assured both are outstanding cars. also iw as thinking, there are a few s63s that are like at 5000 miles for about 100000bucks

That is a pretty incredible deal, IMO. 5,000 miles = $30-50K discount? Nice.

 

One feature that may be on the 2010 is the new dual-view comand screen. The passenger can be watching a video while the driver is still able to see the nav (or some other application) , both seen by the use of one comand screen.
