Has anyone rolled their fenders

I need anyone that has rolled their s class fender imput. My s550 has 22 inch rims with 295/25/22 tires in the rears but I would like to lower the car lower than it already is but it rubs alot. I looked at the fender's lip and it has somwhat of a rolled lip from the factory already but was wondering if it can be rolled even further to reduce the tire rubbing. Can anyone that knows or has done this chime in thanks.

BTW: sorry for the bad grammer it's past 3:00 am and I can't sleep or form a proper sentence right now. LOL.

Yes I have rolled almost all the S-class (W221) cars that I have put wheels on. When running a 295 tire you MUST roll the fend in order to not have any rubbing issues. It can easily (and safely) be done with the proper tools.

Yes I had to roll my rear fender because it rubs a lot after I'm lowered and on 21" wheels (10" wide).

I guess the simplest way to explain it is that you're stretching the fenders out a bit to fit wider tires and wheels.

besides rolling the fenders, you might have to shave a bit of the plastic trim inside the rear wheel area on the car as well...I rolled my as much as possible but if you really want that 1.5 to 2 inch drop on 295's you might have to shave the plastic parts as well

I don't really know if the inside is rubbing, I really do not think so but thanks for the food for thought I'll check it out as well.

Yes I seem to remember that there were some plastic parts sticking out into the way of the rear tires which caused most of the rubbing and hence they were shaved.
