Wind Noise?

I have been noticing slightly increased wind noise buffeting (at HWY speeds mainly) on the drivers side window near the top.

Has anyone noticed this, is there a service bulletin? I looked at the door seal rubber, and they seem fine. It's kind of like the effect of a microphone being buffeted by the wind. Suggestions? Of course cranking up the music makes it disappear ;-)

I've noticed it a little bit, but it seems to be coming from the mirrors. This helps support that it is the mirrors.

It's the strangest thing. The entire car is dead silent, and then bam, you get this buffeting. And also, mine is buffeting as well. Not whistling or anything.. non-stop buffeting. For me, it's only around 70+. It doesn't seem to exist at any speeds lower than that.

The mirror fixture has new parts, avoiding the noise from an airflow leak. But the issue should only concern early production, perhaps fixed late 2006 or so.

my 07 (production date 03.07) is a rolling silent vault - even at 90mph+. no wind noise at all.

Is that a US MY or a build date? This should not concern cars with a serial number above 138 000 approximately.

The last 6 in my VIN is 099236, with a build date of 10/06. It missed the non-Neck Pro head restraints and the antenna on the trunk. Mine would be included in the models with the problem right?

I'm not sure if all cars would have the problem but your car does appear to be in the range that at least may be affected.

If you seals are fine then when you have her in the shop have them adjust the placement of the window regulator. This will correct the gap and end your leak.

Is there any way to tell if the seals are fine or I just have to rely on what the dealer says?

Okay so I made the appointment for this Wednesday. They're going to fix the wind noise and the creaky drivers seat, all under warranty.
