Come on, people. The purpose of this message board is not to give someone a grammar lesson or to create an atmosphere of hostility. It's totally changed my opinion of this board. Am I the only person that feels this way? We are here to discuss cars, not attack each other!!!
As for the original post, it is one or more of 3 things:
1. It is true
2. It is false
3. It is mildly annoying and can be ignored
Some of you should be embarrassed. Why not join the Honda Civic message boards and flame each other with the rest of the teenagers? Don't you have anything better to contribute to this world than hostility or disparaging remarks?

HAHA as soon as I read the title of this thread I know some old people gonna bash the kid for getting a nice car because they prolly didn't have anything as near nice his age...well it is weird that this kid is even starting this thread I totally agree but I bought a nice car before I moved out simply cuz I knew I was going to school for a couple more years so I can probably pay it off before I get my own place....nothing wrong with buying a nice car and live with your folks as long as you aren't 40 and a virgin lol....

I am 20 now but I purchased my S600 brand new about a year ago and will probably never regret it. It is such an amazing combination of sheer power and utter luxury.
Plus the fact that we welcomed our daughter into the world when i purchased this vehicle, there probably isn't a safer car out there that i would rather be driving her in.

I probably wouldn't be as happy with a S600, though seeing as you have a kid I can understand where your coming from. Got any pics?

I can't speak to the credibility of the other member who posted about his S600, but I've attended countless meets and am even helping to set up the next one on 5/16.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed you bought used, so lets even call it $180k for both.
So, you are claiming that you were doing enough details during HS to pay for $180k worth of vehicles?
Also:
$200 for a basic detail is high, but $600 for paint correction is acceptable. That said, to properly do paint correction takes about 5-6 hours from start to finish. Then you need to pay for materials, tools, etc.
Also, claiming that you are doing 1 or 2 details every single day while in school is ridiculous. What if it rains? Middle of winter?
If your parents gave you the money, fine, I have no problems with that, but implying that you self purchased them is VERY hard to believe.

I don't even live with my parents. And actually, I graduated high-school at 17, fwiw. DURING high school, I owned the lesser Audis because I couldn't afford the Benzos; I worked part time for a security company at that time. I started paying my own way during high school for clothes, food, cars, insurance, the whole nine yards.
And, I know what "they" need to pay for, I pay for it all the time: Over-head, employees, products
I still make enough. Let me get this straight, you think I rent a Benz everytime I go to a meet?
I attend college and manage my business as of now. So far so good. Too bad your not local, I'd give you a discount for a detail.

I am lucky to say that I have been blessed enough where I can financially afford a 150k car at such a young age. I have also been blessed with a solid well paying job at a young age.
