I think there is one small thing that should work better, navi cannot give you directions to the city center - you have to select a street when you want to enter a city. If you don't know the street name or you don't want to type it in if you know the city already, you have to select the first street on the list or a random one.

The city centre may not always be the city centre you would consider the real centre, I don't know how the map data supplier defines the centre, specifically for some smaller rural places.
