Hi everyone!

I wanted to see if any of you guys have switched your rear bumpers to an S63 or S65 Rear Bumpers on your S550 with AMG package? If so is it a direct fit? Any other parts needed?

The Only difference between the S550 with AMG package and the S63's rear bumper, is the Black plastic cutout that houses the quad exhaust tips. That's it. They are identical. If you have the non AMG S550 then there is more work involved . Do you just want to add the S63 quad rear exhaust?

You might want to do a search on "AhmadKShuja" or maybe just "shuja" on this BBS. A few months ago he retrofitted his s600 with a full AMG body trim and as I recall it turned out pretty well.

You'll notice the before/after pics of this S600 with the AMG pack. You'll also notice that he's removed the rear badges but yet the car looks like a S600/AMG hybrid

Actually after removing the badges the car looks identical to mine - an S63 .......uummmm without the badges! So basically he bought an S600, turned it into an S63 (from the outside) and the finally ended up with a "V12-S63"

Thank you for your response, and I actually did see his car and recognized a lot of your responses prior to purchasing your AMG. I saw that the retrofit was completed and wanted to know if there were additional parts needed. Most other Mercedes models of the same chassis share the same mounting points and just wanted to see if it was the same for the W221 for a friend who will be completing the rear bumper swap.
