electrical problems
I have been experiencing the following problems in my s class in the past month.
1. all lights have a slight flicker when they are turned on.. footwelll, back and front lights. (headlights DO NOT FLICKER)
2. the music will cut out at random times for a split second then come on again.
does anyone have an idea of the cause of these problems?
thanks

I had a similar problem with my radio, cd and telephone connection. I found some of the fuses had a bad connection - removed the fuses, reinserted them, now I have no problem..Might be worth a try...

Batteries sometimes need early replacing and can trick every system onboard.

You might have simply rebooted everything by doing that. Possibly disconnecting and reconnecting the battery might have done the same thing. Who knows. These rolling computers can be difficult to diagnose.

It does not sound like a fuse for this new car and if it affects several different lights. Sounds to me more like the alternator regulator issue or then some sort of a big consumer in the car that should not be there or should not behave like it does.
Xenons have a ballast that makes it tolerable for input voltage changes.

Is it an S350 anyway? In this case it is not a US car and could have been a MY 2006 W221, even a build date 2005 W221 (or V221 in this case).
