Smile Iphone 3GS use with Verizon cradle adapter

I am switching from a Verizon V60 phone to a 3GS Iphone. I have a cradle for the V60. Is there a pig tail available to connect the new phone and existing cradle so it will charge while next to the cradle . I know it will sync but would like it to charge also. My searches have not turned up any information. Any help with this question would be appreciated.

You cannot connect your iphone to a V60 dock, the only thing that might accomplish what you are looking for is buying the MHI cradle for the bluetooth connection, and get the updated 3G charging ipod connection in the glove box. I haven't heard of anyone doing this so I am not 100% this will work. I am sure someone here has an iphone with an ipod kit that can try it out though.

IPHONE

Thanks for your response to my question. I think my cradle will work as a pickup for the Iphone just like the MHI device so will just do without the charging component.
Thanks again.

A V60 cradle does not have a bluetooth link in it. Is there a part# on the cradle you have now or maybe a pic of it.

Iphone v60 adapter

Hmmmmmmm, my V60 phone links as soon as I am around the car and I just assumed it was the cradle linking the phone but maybe it is just the BT in the car. I don't know that much about it. If that is the case then I am assuming the Iphone will work just like the V60. Is that a correct assessment? If I took the cradle out would it still link? I'll have to try and see I guess when I get the Iphone. I am really not in favor of buying another overpriced BT link from AWS if I can avoid it. I don't recall the model number but at the time I bought it ('07) it was the one recommended for the V60 phone in '07 S550. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Hmm I am a little confused myself I never heard of a V60 having bluetooth. Is this what you have? If not perhaps you have a V600 from Verizon. The phone will not connect via bluetooth without a bluetooth module in the center console.

I have the MHI device for the V60 Motorola phone. I may have been incorrect about the bluetooth aspect but my V60 links to my car in or out of the cradle. I was then thinking if an Iphone would link with the MHI device it would be OK just not be able to be charged. Sorry about all of the confusion. I heard from AWS and they say there is no pigtail for the MHI cradle and Iphone. I have also asked if the Iphone links with the MHI but have not heard back. Thanks for your thoughts and again sorry about the poor descriptions of what I am trying to do.

I don't think the iphone will connect to your setup now, you will most likely need the 6-7-87-5878 even the earlier model ones do not work with iphones only the newer software/updated ones.
