That said, putting an AMG kit on a 600 only exposes its obvious cosmetic (and functional) flaws, like its C300-like brake calipers and puny brakes (esp in context of a 500+hp/600+lb-ft missle)...and advertises driver as a poseur...much cheaper to buy a used, option-free 550 and slap some 65 badges on it

Even at 70MPH on a busy CA urban fwy, any driver would be far better equipped in a 65 to react in any emergent, evasive maneuver where powerful, smart brakes, perf tires, AMG-calibrated chassis and a grippy sport steering wheel are critical, when 1-2 secs and a few feet of stopping distance advantage can have tremendous implications for one's health (and wealth, given the liability implications for driver of any $150+K car in any collision, no matter fault)

Having owned and extensively driven various new CL550, 63 030, 600 and 65 over past ~3yrs, would argue superior safety value of 65 is worth every penny over any 600 or 550....and life's simply too short to endure the plastic interior and barely adequate tq of 63 030
Wow, delusional AND paranoid.

I wouldn't feel safe driving an '88 Accord, but really? Unsafe in an anything600? Life's too short to be so damn scared.

Cheap interior in a CL? Pampered much?
