2008 S550 with AMG Sport Pkg
What did your S 550 replace?
I traded a 2004 Lexus LS 430 in January 2008. One of the best car decisions I've ever made. Lexus doesn't even come close...

745lLI BMW.Nice car but just doesnt hang with the benz.Even my bride can tell the difference,so i guess next year i will end up with another MB.This time i think i will amp up my game a little.....S65.

Lexus LS460L. Even though the S550 is much superior than the LS in many aspects i have a lot of respect for Lexus they did an awesome job with the new LS.

BMW 535d and 745d

Both great cars but Benz is better! Being a die-hard BMW fan, didn't believe it until I tried. Benz feels better to drive and own too. Next time Benz for sure.

Heavens yes. The 600 is a beast. Mine is in the shop getting service D performed and a couple of the trim pieces at the bottom of the doors are getting new clips and glue backings as they are coming loose (you folks may want to check this).
I also have always had a leak in my left headlight housing that after washing the car would hold moisture for a day or so. They found a seal that was not attached and believe it's been that way since day one. Also, I was worried that an idler pulley was groaning again but we think it is the power steering fluid getting low because the sound disappears after the car warms up.
$425 to get Service D performed then I am going to take it back to get the transmission fluid flushed and changed for around $350. It also needs new front brakes and rotors. I'll do the tranny and brakes in a month or so.
