S 550
I like the exhaust tips coming through the rear bumper (similar to the Lexus). Is that standard on the new S550s?

Yes those exhaust tips are standard in the new S. I think it looks much better than the older model exhaust.

Love both of your cars! The S is beautiful, and I think the non-sport, bumper looks very very nice.
Excellent choice.

Very nice.

Is that a silver molding strip at the bottom of the front apron?

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I gotta say i love this car and also love the looks it gets on the streets. Since it's so new people look at it like WOW, which Benz is that. I had a guy ask me if it was a "Maybach"

Anyways, I am currently hunting for some 22's to compliment the car much more as i believe wheels on this car are very much necessary. Have most of you guys done straight up 22's or 22's in the rear and 21's in the front? What is the best set-up to go on an S550? Thank You.

P.S. Will post more interior pics this weekend.

Too sexy. I don't really like the updated taillights as much as the the previous ones (07-09). But damn, still looks good to complain.

Hey MB_Owner,

I take it you live pretty close to Würzburg, I was stationed at Leighton Barracks. How economic environment the city now since the US Military closed down Leighton and the other outlining bases?

TD, lots of changes since Rhein-Main AB closed. Airlifters now at Ramstein AB and the fighters in DE consolidated at Spang. Hard to believe we used to have three fighter bases in the Eifel alone plus Zwei and Ramstein. And that was just the central DE commitment!

Ramstein will open the largest exchange complex in the world in less than two weeks. There's something like 65,000+ Americans (active duty, dependents and retirees) living over there in the K-town vicinity. We make the trip every other week or so to shop.

I bet its a nightmare going shopping in K-town now, it was crazy when I used to drive up there from Würzburg. I after I redeployed back from Iraq, Germany had already changed and many of the places that I had grown accustomed to were either closed or getting ready to close. However, I do miss Germany and Europe as a whole, very beautiful and historic place.
