Will S-Class rims fit on a CLS500?
I'm looking for a spare set of wheels, someone's offering me their S550 wheels for a great deal, I was wondering if anyone knows whether these rims will fit on my car. My biggest concern is that the offset's are too high for my car. The offset is 43mm, my CLS500 (sport package) are 25/28 (front/rear), and am concerned with whether they're going to rub the inner wall of my wheel well.
My CLS wheels
Front: 18x8.5 255/40 (25mm offset)
Rear: 18x9.5 285/35 (28mm offset)
His S550 wheels
Front: 19x8.5 255/40 (43mm offset)
Rear: 19x9.5 275/40 (43mm offset)

Please can anyone give me a definitive answer?

As far as compatible tire/wheel combination, this website is awesome http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit . It will simply tell you what tire/wheel combination will work or not. It doesn't address the offset issue. If the tire/wheel combination works, then you can address the offset issue.
The prospective new wheels are awesome and I think will look great on a CLS.
