Photos of the W221 S63 Accel. Pedal
If there was any doubt that the Accelerator pedal on the W221 is a fly by wire system (i.e no mechanical linkage), here is a photo of the Genuine AMG Sports pedal I just upgraded to. First I have to say, I would recommend this upgrade as there is a definite improvement in pedal feel, and more important the feel is like velcro compared to the old rubber pedal in the stock car (the 2010 comes with a similar pedal), which after 2 years in my case were getting a little worn and smooth.
I had always seen the fake pedals on Ebay, but they all required drilling. The Brake pedal is a clip on )albeit with a little bit of effort for the hard rubber really, nothing was involved. The Accelerator pedal, I had the dealer install (since you will have to reset the warning message when you unplug the cable, (my dealer charged their min 1 hour). I ordered the pedals from MBenzNL, in total about $3XX, but a nice improvement over stock.

Newbie here. Did the same and can attest to the improved feel. Just as an FYI, I bought my pedals (which are genuine OEM) from eBay for $65. Recommended for those that are looking for subtle yet effective upgrades.

Can you post a picture of what yours looks like? I'd like to go that way. Do you have the eBay link? I see lots there, not sure which ones are good or not.

As for the warning lights, can't you just unplug the negative terminal on the battery and leave it off for 20 minutes for the computer to reset? That's what I did when I tried to use a sprint booster which threw warning lights when i installed it.

Why you have to buy on EBAY why you can get them thru your MB dealer, much cheaper (between US$45-$50 for all 3 pieces), here are the part #
1. A 170 300 00 04 (accelerator, replaced as a whole piece).
2. A 170 290 01 82 (main brake, take off the old rubber, insert this one in).
3. A 203 430 00 84 (parking brake, same as above).
No drilling, no hole, just slip them on, 15 minutes job.

I've just did the upgrade on my friend's car. I ordered the parts from parts.com $40 total for both and I installed it in 30 min with no error massage because I didn't plug the cable out.
I wander where are you guys installing the parking brake pedal on 221?

Here's a step by step on how to do it:
1. Start with the brake pedal first. Yank on the right side (the side with the thick overhang) of the old rubber pedal. It should come off really easy, even if you are on the weak side (j/k). Slide the new metal brake pedal on also from the right side first. By this point, you should get the right and most of the bottom of the rubber back flap on over the metal pedal. There's a trick I learnt while putting on countless pedals in the past. Take a very thin screwdriver (the kind used to fix eye glasses or watches), slide the screwdriver behind where the rubber flap ends like halfway in and start yanking upward. This will help the left corner and most of the left side of the new metal pedal in. Which will leave you the top part. This is the part where you curse, grunt or chug that beer coz you need all kind of your finger strength to pull the very last part over the top. But get at it, it will be worth it when it's done.
2. The accelerator pedal is a wee bit trickier. There's a push-off pin right behind on top of the accelerator pedal that you need to remove. Use a needle-nose plier to pinch the right side of the pin and use the help of the ever friendly thin screwdriver to push out the pin from the other side. It's hard work and the pin will not seem to budge at first, but get at it, and keep pushing out, it will eventually slide out nice and easy. Once that's done, just flip the old accelerator so that the front part is flat on the floor. There's a little plastic thingie that sticks out near the bottom of the pedal that holds the rubber in place. Just push the rubber over it and yank the whole thing out. Everything is done in reverse for the new pedal.
3. Enjoy your new pedals and finish that warm beer.

You go to the MOST expensive parts & services for MB in SoCal : FJ. Have you try Anaheim MB ?. I get them here for my friend, all 3 pieces under $50.00 MB parts : 127E Dyer Road, Santa Ana CA 92707 (714)-444-9120 (very close to Main & Dyer), they do not have theses parts in stock, but they will order for you, next day pick up. Years ago, I order online thru Hammersley Group in Virginia (540)-344-6284 (all 3 pieces for 43.13 & ship $10.00), waiting time is 1 week to 10 days, that why I get them locally, next day. I bought both of my MB @ Fletcher Jones, but after the warranty end, I go somewhere else for services, due to all the perks, parts & services @ FJ are very high, to cover all the perks for new customers. In SoCal, there are too many MB dealers, just punch you phone to get the best price, but NOT FJ.

2012 GL350, 2012 S550 4MATIC Designo, 2013 Maserati Quattroporte SOLD, 2008 BMW 750i SOLD
Just did this on my 2012 S550. On a scale of 1-10, I give the difficulty a 1. I agree that it is one of the most rewarding "mods" you can do considering the price and level of difficulty. I purchased my OEM AMG pedals on eBay for $72.
As described by others, the brake pedal comes right off. Slipping it on took a whole two seconds. Others have described this as difficult, but I found the rubber to be soft, pliable, and extremely easy to pull on. Maybe leaving it in the Texas summer sun for a few min helped.
The accelerator pedal was just as others described. I could not get my needle nose pliers to "grab" the head of the pull pin to get it out. I took a small eyeglass screwdriver and stuck it in the pin from the back side. I then gently, but firmly, pressed the pedal sideways so the head of the screwdriver was against the carpet thus pushing the pin out. After a quick push, the pin came loose and was easy to pull out. Flip the pedal down and pull the rubber pedal off. I found the next part to actually be the most difficult. When pulling the new pedal on, the rubber studs kept coming off the metal part. After getting the whole thing on, I gently used the eyeglass screwdriver to pry the studs back through.
For anyone on the fence, just do it! This took a grand total of 10 min or less. There are a few posts on the link below as well.

One question I do have for others that have had the pedals for some time is whether the rubber studs get worn down. If so, have you experienced any slippage when applying pressure with your foot? Has anyone needed to replace the pedals again?

EDIT: never mind, if it fits a 2012 as in previous post it will fit mine.
