Did you do the tail-lights as well, how much did they charge you for the headlights?

How did they do for you? Did they do a nice job cutting the panels to install the strip lights or is it a bit rough? Car looks great...

IT WORKS, had buy a Kit from them: Link

They offers now "ready-coded SAM Modules" incl. plug and play wires.

Only install and finish

Will post these days some pics of my car

Guys,

As I surfed the Japanese sites more and more, there are other suppliers of these so called "plug and play" harnesses. It still looks like you need to hack into your original wiring in order to make it work, but from the look of the pictures on the following site, it's not much different from hacking say your airmatic wiring for your ELM to work....

Please check: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/...blog/16288447/

If any of you is a Japanese reader, maybe you can help ask where he got the harness from?

Sorry, is the MT in MTB stands for Master Tuning, the site you told us to get the facelift package from? I just want to make sure that this is not an ad in disguise.....

...but if it works, I'd still buy from ya...

I`ve spoken to them, they send a pre-codes new SAM Modul specially on your car (they need your VIN number before to code on your vehicle)

Special harness is also included, like from Factory

Here, all lights work and no false codes, done with new special coded SAM module in front without other relais and self made modules. Like factory.

Hey MTB,

The conversion looks really good, what was the total cost for the conversion and how long was the process?

Its a 2006 S550

was upgraded with all new 2010 amg parts incl. 10x21" ML63 wheels all around with 255/30-21 tyres also all around.

Spacers in front 20mm per side, and rear 30mm per side

Will make some shots only of the lights these days, that you can see that everything works

+1, I agree, it's like pulling teeth to get a straight answer from this guy. I get the feeling that this is a vendor advertising their service. I went back through the post and the response to the questions someone asked him were pretty vague. Don't get me wrong the conversion is nice, but something seems fishy in his responses (there's no direct responses to the question).

Also I see the car has European tags on it, but you can't make me believe that he doesn't understand English.

My brother just did the upgrade in Saudi Arabia except for the headlights, also he told me that he just changed the tips on the mufflers no the whole exhaust. He traded in the old amg bumpers and mirrors for the 2010 the cpst about $2600. So he is just waiting for a solution to change the headlights too.

by the way his car is 2009 S350

nice! looks great, the lights, bumpers, headlights, fogs and the S65 exhaust!

I'd lose the V12 badge - god forbid someone opens the hood on that thing and see the 3.5L power plant!!!

LOL, I don't see how anyone would open his hood and see the engine.

And even then, most non-MB owners wouldn't even know a 3.5L from a 6.0L...

But yeah, posing is pretty weak....but doubt anyone over there will call you out on it...
