So I went ahead and purchased this "plug&play" kit from Mastertech Tuning, since no one here seems to dare to pull the trigger. I'll be the guinea pig.

Total cost is usd 4500. I just paypaled him the money.

We'll see if and when the package arrives next week.

Well, depends. It's not just a few LED. It's the price of having the upgraded look. I heard it costs even more in the US to do the conversion?

dont get me wrong, the 2010 headlights look fantastic! But i would have a hard time justifying 4500 to have that look. Maybe just the rears, since its roughly 1500 right?

Hey Tony,

I am getting the Brabus shop here in Jakarta to do the install. I am sure they will 100% comfortable with doing the conversion if they can do full engine transplant....

I want the S65 led fogs only, will the led work with my older amg bumper if I just replace the honeycomb grill where the halogen fogs sit with the new led?

Update: just found out the 2010 foglight grill is not compatible with older amg bumper.

I ordered from Master tuning the upgraded side mirrors 11 days ago and have not received anything. Apparently MB has a parts problem. In addition, I am also waiting for the plug and play headlight harness. Communication has been trying. I have been just trying to find out when he will ship.

But I do not get much. I hope to get the stuff soon. I ordered the front headlights, rears and bumpers locally.

I'm not a big fan of putting S65 (V12) on anything else than S65.. one quick glance at girly brakes through 20"+ wheels and you know it's a S350 or V8..

There's this thread where a guy has W140 S500 with V12 badges and says it is because in his country if S500 carries a V12 badge it is bulletproof
