which design do you perfer (remember it is wife;s daily Driver)
which design do you perfer (remember it is the wife's daily Driver / carpool for to a 6 and 3 year old)
Vossen 078 (5 start) or the 083 (multi spoke) - The wheels will be silver in finish in color. I am a little concerned with having the car look a little to baller.

i like the thinner spoke look, but I'm biased since my wife's car has that look :-)
i love the Vossen wheels, but not the on S-Class. They just look like something that has been done by everyone else - HRE, Forgiato, Asanti for the last decade. Great looking wheels, but aren't pushing the design envelope like the S550 body lines. Almost look like wheels from the last body CL or S put on a new S550.
For a wife, how about considering the Giovanna Dalars? They are thick & strong, a bit cheaper (not multi-piece) but look really aggressive. Also, you can powder coat the centers and diamond cut or polish the lip areas and then clear the whole thing - would look incredible on white and no one else would have what you have. Here is a black one:
