Too Much Brake Dust
I recently purchased a 2010 E350. It now has about 12,000 miles on it. I love the car, but my biggest complaint is the amount brake dust it produces. I try to keep my car spotless, however the brakes produce so much dust that the wheels need to be cleaned every two days. As much as I like a clean car, that’s too much cleaning for me. I’d like to replace my brake pads. My last car had ceramic pads that produced very little dust, and the dust was easy to clean. I’ve been looking around and EBC makes a pad called Red Stuff. Does anyone have any experience with these pads, or any others that will significantly reduce brake dust?
Thanks

Yep, I put the porterfields on my 07 E550 after 3k miles of dust hell (and squealing). They were near perfect, virtually zero dust, no squeal. Only MINOR downside was a bare amount of increased pedal effort when they were cold...
