Need advice on buying S600
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have an
opportunity
to buy a 2007 S600 with very low mileage. The car is clean and is still under warranty. Can anyone here tell me about the 2007 S600 reliability. I bought a 2007 LS460L and all though is it a very nice car it was the first model year for the new style and I had many warranty issues. All minor in nature, and the dealer was responsive. If I do the deal I intend to purchase an extended warranty. Which warranty do you recommend.

Go for it. I've got the same year S600 and had a tranny problem that was addressed under wty. It's great to have every option (almost) avail. in an S550 plus the alcantra lining and the V12. To me Lexus is a MB wannabe and just not the same.

Is it a CPO S600? You should get the MB extended warranty, no question in my mind.

I have an early 2008 S600 and no problems at all to date. Highly recommended.

Few photo's attached My wife and Sales Manager at Faulkner GMC. Saying goodbye to LS460. Sorry for the poor quality. Plan on going to local Mercedes dealer tomorrow to tranfere info to my name, and learn a little more about past and future service plus extended warranty.

Yes you are right Fraser. I traded my LS460L and the Sales Manager sold the LS to his Dad yesterday. They are coming over today. The S600 belonged to the SM father in law who passed away recently.
Still trying to figure this car out. Today I heard a voice from within the car shout "get out of the car dummy and stay out until you figure me out". Had a hell of a time yesterday figuring home link. Finally working.

It's pretty intuitive. Simply scroll with the control knob and click and you'll see what it does. Likewise for the left steering column control.
The nice think about the car is that you can get in it and drive. Easy.

It is great car, but make sure you read the owner manual well that will save you a lot of confusion.
