Blue tooth adapter.
I just got a Bluetooth adapter A67875878 for my S550. I paid $125 included shipping. Now I don't have to paid over $300 to get the A67876131. It paired with my Motorola Driod beautiful, very easy, no problem. The contact book transfered very smooth.

Does anyone know where to get this A67875878 adaptor? A google search does not come up with anything other than this thread. I am looking for an adaptor for a 2005 S500. The adaptor I have has horrible sound quality according to anyone I call.

The BT adapter B67875878 does not work on W220 only W221 with MHI and BT puck pre-wired. Your 05 S500 is W220. You need to wire the BT module or use a V60 adapter.

This information is incorrect, MHI phone systems started in 2005 in all Mercedes minus maybach/SLR check your center console to see if you have a phone kit installed if so you just need the 6-7-87-5878 or 6-7-87-6131

There are firmware updates for the older bluetooth modules, but I don't think they address clarity issues. Which person is having the distortion is it the calls coming in or the person on the other end saying you sound bad? If you are using a cradled handset like I think you are saying then it sounds like you have bad hardware in the loop.

I must not be communicating this very well. Sorry. I have the bluetooth module (I took the v-60 cradle off) and now have a lot of people telling me the sound is awful. I was hoping someone had either a firmware update for the bluetooth module or for the phone.
To answer the question, people tell me I sound like I am on a soup can and string. I can hear them fine; they cannot hear me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
