Wind Turbulence
As nice as the S Class is, has anyone noticed how windy it gets if the sunroof is open and you then open your front window even just a bit?
Even if you're going at slow speeds. I think the older S class models had better wind design. Oh well, can't say I'd want to dump the car because of that though...

Interesting. The new S is a bit more aero than the old one (.26 for the W221 I think?), but dunno if that has to do with wind noise design.

Hmm, I didn't notice...
I truly rarely open my windows in the car, so I supposed I wouldn't be one to notice.
However, I did notice that there was much more wind noise in the C300 rental car. This leads me to assume that the new design that Mercedes-Benz is a "noisier" design.

I'll bet it has to do with how the roofs are more slanted/sweeping or something. As time goes on, cars and Benz get less "From follows Function" and more "Function follows Form".
