I had AUL...and it was OK. Even w/ top of the line coverage, many items were excluded. One major problem was the delay in getting thru to AUL by service advisor to get approval and/or await their "inspectors" to see car. Most advisors too buys to deal w/ being on hold, or waiting 1-2 days to get approval. Just my $.02.
P.S. Lisa from the Chico place is too busy to return phone calls - I tried 3x. Given the high profit margin, dealer could easily add an assistant for her and it would pay off in huge profits.

AUL Extended Coverage
Thanks for the reply. Bzliteyear, I am curious to know what you meant that lots of parts are not covered. I also just purchased the most extensive coverage - everything should be covered except for the maintenance stuff and moldings. Can you share with me what they didn't they cover with your claim?
I am also looking to purchase an extra smart key. The best price that I have been quoted on from the dealerships in the Houston area is $235. Does anyone know of a better price place?

if anything i would just get something to cover the majors (powertrain). The warranties that cover more tend be to "named" ones and all that advanced stuff we have in our S's certainly isn't named.
Even the Merc warranties don't cover lots of electronics and "trim" pieces like ... headrests ect.
