2010 LED Lights update..
Talked to Steve from MbenzNL today.. got this information from him..
"it IS possible to install the modelupdated lights and bits in a prefacelift 221 BUT:
- you have to install slightly modified taillights in order not to geta taillight malfunction
- you have to get a pre-programmed front SAM in order to get theheadlights to work properly- you have to change the connectors at the headlights and you have toadd wiring to those headlights (this can be done with adapterharnesses)
- I believe that the active cornering feature of the headlights nolonger works properly- as a lot of people do this modification, it is nearly impossible tofind used parts and you will have to get it all new (which is notcheap) ...but, all in all
- it is most definitely possible... "

There is now a control unit that takes care of the intelligent lights features, except the automatic low/high beams. I have not heard of owners' comments but the device was advertised at this forum too. Still pretty expensive when the looks is basically the only gain.

There is one person who has pics and has completed a full convesion (except led drl's) on this forum. You can check him out on the forum for updated tail lights. I just got mine back this weekend- I had the new tail lights and the new led foglights(drl) installed. I want to get the headlights but at 1350 (w a discount) it's pretty expensive and all the labor I don't know if I'm ready....yet
