2012 S600 Lunar Blue
bluetooth problems

I'm a little out of element with this issue so please be patient with me. Just purchased 07 S600, thought it had bluetooth but learned here that I needed a bluetooth adapter or puck. I purchased the newer unit #6131, but no go with my phone which is a samsung U750. My 07 LS Lexus, and 10 Denali paired just fine. Apparently the previous owner had a phone and adapter. The cradle was still in the car. I removed it to install the new puck. Is there something else I should do. This shouldn't be this difficult. Thanks Joe

Did you have the BT adapter manual along with the product? If not, I think you can download a copy from Auto Wireless Solutions web site.

Sounds like you just attached the puck, you would have to press a button on the BT adapter to make it ready to accept pairing from new phones. Press the button for a few seconds until a blue led starts blinking quickly and then search this BT devices from your phone's BT menu. The pairing code for BT HF adapters is MBUSA.

Yes, I have directions and followed them to the letter. The puck seems to search for a long period of time, then I get an activation message followed by "phone off".

I'm confused if you really are paring the phone as instructed by the manual. The puck is not searching the phone but the phone should find the puck, once it is made ready for pairing. Can you clarify your approach.
