Wheel Bolt Shape vs Hexagonal?

I must be really missing something obvious?

My 2007 s550 has wheel bolts with a "flower-shaped" head vs. the hexagonal head usually found ...

1) are these the standard ? and

2) do I use a normal 14mm socket to remove/tighten them?

(May be silly questions, but couldn't find anything in the manual specific to the shape of the bolt...)

Thanks

It uses a hex socket. Take a look at the wrench i your trunk with the spare.
