2010 S class incentives

The C63 folks discovered that there were ongoing incentives with 2010 models.
If you scroll down, it looks like S classess can get up to $12,500 incentive.

My bad, I think the chart applies only to Canada.
Meanwhile if people know what discounts they are getting off 2010 S-classess, please post.

Thanks

I've been wondering about the answer to this question as well since the end of the model year is drawing near.

LAST model year (2009), around September / October, Mercedes-Benz was offering $14k - $15k off the price, which means you could get this off of invoice if you tried. I negotiated a deal of $14k back of invoice last year on a new S550 4Matic, but the deal fell through because they couldn't get where I wanted to be on my trade in S500.

I doubt the numbers will be that high - they were based on the facelift and major electronics changes in the car between 2009 and 2010. This year's changes are not so extreme.

We're all speculating at this point - but I agree they were discounting because there were notable changes between 2009 and 2010. Only the folks at MB know the number, and they sure aren't sharing. If you're right about a slimmer incentive, then I'll probably end up in an E550 4Matic instead of a new S550 when I go to change in a few months. Not that that is a bad thing - I'm pleased with how aggressive they got on pricing the new E550 while not shortchanging on the details.

I think, if my memory serves me even the least bit well, that the end of model year discounts for the 2008 MY S550's were around $10k, but don't quote me.

Now if MB Canada has trunk money for the S-Class, why not the US? I mean I know we are different markets but it seems like a big incentive in Canada...we are talking about the same facelifted model here.
