Retrofit cooler in the rear
has anyone tried to retrofit the OEM coolbox in the rear ?
I just got mine the other day and when i took the rear apart there is not enough room for it, there is a "box" now when you open the armrest that is where you enter the new coolbox and that fits fine with the height etc, however the new cooler is much higher and would hit the fusebox underneath the box that is installed now??
I went to MB put of course they never tried to retrofit it they just say if ppl want it they order it with the car however you could buy a new wall that holds the rearseat that was prepared for coolbox/skisack that was about 250$ and then 2 spacers for 1$ each but he wasnt sure that would do the trick ? I cant really see how a new wall would move the fusebox to make enough space ?
please help since I have the urge for cold redbull every once in a while when im driving
