I have a 07 S550 and have the following Q's;

1- Can I do a face-lift and install those new cool LED headlights and lamps and brake lights that were changed in the latest Model?

2- How can I change the Speedometer from Miles to Kilometers (re-programing)

3- Can I install a rear view camera to appear on the monitor.

4- Can I install night vision to appear on the dashboard?

5- How can I update my navigation system to include new countries, such as Dubai and Saudi Arabia?

6- How the hell can use the phone in the car?, I got it pared via bluetooth with my mobile but it wouldent make any calls??

7- Where can I download an Owners Manual and any other useful manuals for free?

And a cost estimation for some of the above if possible.... Thanks

In order to make the phone work, you will need the bluetooth puck that fits in the armrest. This item is sold separately from a dealer or you could search the forum classifieds. $150 used or $400 brandnew.

Also, you can search http://www.navigation.com/ and select your country to see what is available as an update dvd for your vehicle.

Keep digging, you'll get there.

Thanks, I opened the arm rest and found that from the looks of it there was one installed and removed, damn those shipping and forwarder employees.

Well let's see,

I found guy here that will reprogram the dashboard to km and update the navigation for 800$, I think that's a bit over, but still looking for others

The manual is OK

The rear view camera needs to be ordered from mid city. They got some other cool stuff like radar detectors built inn, and DVD.

I guess still looking for night vision and face lift

For the facelift

Every think with exhaust and wires and SAM to 2010 S65 except wheels will cost you about $10,600 shipped to Jeddah. I ordered one kit to my brother and will have pictures soon

The kit will include:

- Complete front face lift (Bumper, grills, fog lights, head lights, Front SAM with wiring)
- Complete rear face lift (Bumper, exhaust, taillight)
- Side mirrors.
- And side skirt if you don’t have AMG sport package.
- 20" Wheels will cost you about $5100 extra.

Installing will not cost you that much because the labor is so cheap in Saudi Arabia.

Now this week I'm ordering a kit for my friend if you need anything let me know so we can combine shipping.

Forget reprogramming the speedo, just change your settings so that it shows the digital readout of speed in kph at the bottom left of the speedo

 

Thanks, I Tried it, but it still doesn't feel good because I am so used to km, and it's more fun to see the spedo go to 200 km instead a measly 125mile
