Telematics/Command updated but....
I recently had my 2007 command/telematics updated by the dealer and now the audio (radio cd mp3 or what ever is playing) no longer softens when the navigation announcements for driving directions comes on. Is there some type of setting for this to happen. I can adjust the actual loudness of the navi announcement by using the volume button when an announcement comes on etc. Thanks.

There is no setting on the 221 Comand. The dealer must have used an old version, the latest update should have the partial audio muting feature during navi announcements.

I was not charged for the update. As far as the update being old I don't know... even my original telematics software update partially muted the audio source when a navigation announcement came on. I now do have the real time traffic, birds eye view and dvd playing capability. Not a big deal I guess but it is a nice feature to have when you have the music/audio playing some what louder as it becomes difficult to hear the navigation announcement.
