What type of changes is your chip doing to get the increased gain? Anything thats going to kill fuel economy or foul up the engine with increased fuel?

Very interested

Does this involve sending in our ECU or is this a chip that we directly plug in? (any down time with the car?)

Anyone else surprised at the 30%+ driveline losses when compared to stated hp? 267 vs 382. This fat lady needs to work out!!

Power is achieved by making changes to torque management and throttle opening/limits, timing, fuel mixture, throttle response and speed limitter removal. Driving regularly, you may see better fuel economy as a by product from the increase torque allowing you to come up to cruising speed faster and easier. It is not uncommon to see a lesser rpm at the same criusing speed when compared to the same rpm driving with factory settings. Less rpm = Less injector opening time = less gas burned. The mixture is safe and will not run rich or foul any plugs.

This does involve sending in your ecu. It can be easily located under the hood. It is a silver box ontop of the engine. You do not require any tools to remove the ecu. Free ground shipping back is free. If you have an account you would like to send overnight, then please enclose return label. Taking advantage of overnight shipping will ensure minimal down time. All ecus are tuned and returned same day as arrival.

This particular Dyno Dynamics is a "Heart Breaker" when it comes to a giving a "Glory" number. Higher results are to be expected on higher reading dynos. The percentual gains will remain the same between platforms.

Any discount for forum members? I notice there is a variation in price from model to model and were looking at over a grand for the w221... also, for clarification this will eliminate the speed limiter?? My S550 4matic tops out at 130 and won't budge after that.... Or so I hear....

Do you guys offer anything where scanning can be done, saved and sent to have a flash done to ones specific vehicle? how far can you get into tuning? And if MBZ really wanted to bec of engine or trans failure etc, could they download the new tune or see the log that it was reflashed on X date? Especially if you have big rims, lowered, etc...throws up a flag of a moding type person. I know that GM-Ford- can if they want or need to and they even print it out.
I use HPTuners to for tuning american rides. On my own rides I have tuning OCD.

E-Z Flash is available for ME9.7 Bosch ecus. The E-Z Flash tool has the ability to flash 2 different map settings into your vehicle. Cost is Tune price + $400 (for E-Z Flash). Tool only sold with OE Tuning tunes. There are no "end user" tuning options available for MB (like HP tuners).
MB dealers can and will write over tuned settings with updated software versions, this depends on different factors, service needs and requirements. As far as a flash date is concerned, E-Z Flash/OE Tuning does not alter the dealer flashing details stored in the ecu memory.
