sometimes when i start my car up it feels like it might be in a higher gear. I gibe it gas and it barely moves. feels like it might be in 2nd or 3rd gear...
ive also noticed it downshifts pretty hard sometimes (in C mode and S mode)
when on S mode before i come to a complete stop it downshifts hard and makes the car jump....
what gives?
the car has 39,050 miles and is fresh out of warranty I am told
I did some searching and I was told the tranny ECU must be re-programmed. is this true?

is it covered under MB? if not how much would it cost?


lets hope this doesnt cost an arm and a leg

Have you ever had the trans oil changed or flushed? If not then I would look at that also.

could be the valve body needs replacing in the transmission. (computerized tranny)
