I am interested in changing the side marker lights on the s550 to clear (OEM are yellow). I installed the updated style for the rear tail lights (2010) and they look and work fantastic on my 2007.

Now I would like to change out those yellow side markers.
Where did you get them

I can't recall what company makes them.. I'm still debating if i wanna put them on my car or just paint the stock ones. They did come with bulbs but i suggest if you are going to put the clear ones in to go with a led bulb to give it the look it deserves.. But it's just a suggestion

These are the bulbs I've used in the license plate lights,mirror puddle light,side marker light,door light (when you open the door,there's lights under it),and parking light (inside headlight). I have the clear ebay side markers as well and the bulb does not come with so an LED upgrade will finish the look nicely! Not a fan of the purple or deep blue but the bright white LED looks great IMHO...

What are the brightest led lights I can get for the parkinglights and side markers? Are these 8 led ones brighter than the 5 led ones mentioned above?

Use the one's in the link I posted.There the brightest and the lights are spread out evenly also.

Hi Phat- I ordered the LEDs from the same vender and they just blink a few times and dont work. I tried another vender and the same thing... Did your LED side marker bulbs work out of the box or was there something needed to be done to get them to work?

I can't believe how sharp that looks! Im tryin to figure out how many bulbs to order i wanna do every bulb i can like that.. how many did u order? and can u put those in where it lights up in the headlight when makin a turn? Also did u change ur hid's in the headlights or fog's? what color best matches those bulbs? Theres nothing worse then having all miss matched bulbs

You would need 11 sets to change all your lights to that color. I have 6k upgraded bulbs in my headlights (D1S size). Also my fogs are also 6k. You can't change the bulb where it lights up when u turn,because it's a different size.

-side marker
-parking lights (inside headlight,near side marker)
-mirror (puddle lights) this is tricky to get to.
-both front doors (under door)
-both rear doors (under door)
-inside front footwell L/R
-inside rear footwell L/R
-glove box and center console
-license plate
-trunk
-inside trunk

8k hid best matches,but it's not as bright as 6k. I highly recommend 6k though.

So these bulbs also are good for the Fog light?? That is the first thing I would ike to change cause the fog lights just does not match the headlight. I would love to get the fog lights to match my main Head lights. Will these bulbs do it?? Thanks

You will need different size bulb for your fogs. The link I posted about are (wedge style) bulbs that are used for interior,side marker,license plate lighting etc.
