Sound when you get in / park car

Sound when you get in / park car
Im curious as to what this sound I am hearing is.
When i park the car, or even when I first start it, from the outside I hear a noise that almost sounds like a drop of water dropping on a hot piece of metal or a snake doing a 1 second hiss.
This sound only happens when the engine is not running and normally right when I unlock the doors, before I even get in.
