any ideea what this is? sensor?

I found this inside the front bumper by the left Fog light fixture. It was hanging there! looks like a sensor that came out from it's fixture. it has a conection that you can unplug. Didn't try that, might be something from the air suspension. I have no idea! please help

ok, well don't take offense to this (you probably will anyway), but you list your vehicle as a Mercedes S550 ///AMG. This vehicle does not exist. The S550 is not an AMG model.

While I'm 99% sure you have the sport package (which is a great option), it does not make the car an AMG.

Now, you can call it a freaking hammer 911 turbo grosser kia sorento S550 if you feel like it, but you might take some ribbing in the process.

All,

I have a 2005 S500 and the Ambient Temp sensor is hanging on the right lower side, wires attached and working. Does anyone know where it is supposed to sit?

should be a little circular hole in the grille in the bumper.

btw, an 05 is a 220, so that section will be more helpful for other questions.

Thank you Konigstiger. In my S500, 2005, the horns show in Pic 40 appear to be in the main grill but mine are in the lower grill where item 40 points to. My problem is i can't find where the sensor plugs into, there is nothing I'm seeing. I see the horns, I also see the hose that controls the wonshoeld washer fluid for the heads lights but no empty hole for the sensor, driving me nuts
