Difference is, my car has no road vibrations, no bent wheels, etc. It drives like a new one with no issues. I shipped my neighbors B7 Alpina enclosed to the Bay Area from here for $1500....Anyway, GL in your search and with whatever car you decide on.

Man, I remember in 2009, CPO '07 S550's with under 20K miles were going for $45-$47K.
I was in the market for a new car last year, and those same '07's, now over a year older, and with double the mileage, were going for the same or MORE.
The Used market has gone very up, and the W221's dropped massively in the economic crash of '08-'10, yet have leveled out and haven't budged since then, in fact, they have indeed gone up (as have most cars, but the W221 is a prime example).
I couldn't justify paying over $45K for a Used car with a healthy (err, full) dose of mileage on it, so got a new E-Class and couldn't be happier. However, there is something to be said about having an S-Class.

Agreed! For once, a New Car is a best buy.
I was walking through a Chrysler/Dodge Dealership the other day, and the Salesman was saying how ridiculously priced cars there are, on the Used lot. He said he persuaded shoppers to get NEW versions of cars that were 3-4 years old, sitting on the lot. Insane!
