w221 engine timing
Hi,
I have an S550 4 matic. It has a probelm with the camshaft timing Bank1. I changed all the cma and crank gears, the idler gear, the chain and I still can not get it to line up correctly. I started out with 40 deg ATDC, thenwhen I check it at 55 BTDC, bank 1 is OFF. WHat else could be wrong? do you think somethin is worn out in the head (under the camshaft itself, eventhough i checked it and it looks OK). Any body has an m273 engine block diagram?
