MB-S550

Hey guys, I was wondering if it is possible to put the 2010 s550 front bumper on the 2007 s550. the reason being i like the new led fog lights. or can i equip the 2007 bumper with the new fog lights with out having to change the whole bumper. thx

You should be ok to put the 2010 bumper on. But you will need the 2010 grill as well. As far as the LED DRLs (They are not fog lights), that would be a question for someone with more knowledge of the modules needed to get it to work properly.

you can just tap the fog light +/- wires to the leds?

Sure you could do that. They just won't operate like they would on a 2010.

I believe you need to do some work with SAM modules (replace and/or re-program)
AFAIK 2010 leds are DRL's but pre 2010's are fog lights. Correct me if I'm wrong.

For some reason i dislike the 2010 led's. Living in the tri-state and having big wheels you need your fogs if not those potholes will eat up your wheels..
