Aftermarket Wheel Help

I posted this in another thread, but I thought I would make a dedicated thread to this so I could get some more input.

I have an 08 S65 that I want to buy aftermarket wheels for. I want to change the ride as little as possible, so what matters most to keep the ride the same? Just tires? Size? Brand of wheel (quality)? Staggered, vs not? Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I was thinking of getting 20" concave rims and leaving the stock size tires on- but I have no idea if that's a good choice or not and whether or not the brand of wheel I go with matters that much.

Why go aftermarket if you're just going to stay the same size?

Depending on where you live and what you're planning to do. If you're not going to lower the car, I'd stick with stock rims if they're already AMG rims. I have 22"s and they look just right with a modest drop. The difference is barely noticeable, but for sure you'll spend more $$ in the long run for tires and rim repair if you're not careful.

Do you have the performance package? If not, get the performance package 030 wheels and use the same OE tires. This way it won't lose any ride quality.

The 030 wheels are staggered and concaved.

If you live in a state where potholes dominate the road just leave your car the way it is if not you're bound to spend money fixing bent wheels and getting suspenion work soon.
