with 2012's already in dealers, is there in trunk money for left over 2011's?

Have you checked on sites like Edmunds? The often list the most widely available incentives. I haven't checked this month because I'm not in the market, but if M-B is keeping the August books open for this Holiday weekend, then you won't see incentives until sometime later this week.
