Pictures of s550 with Ghost Links done
First I want to thank everyone on this forum and being patient for me being newbie and asking silly questions over and over.
So I have attached pictures of my s550 07 finally done with ghost lowered to what members here suggested. I couldn't be more happier and again I thank you all for replying to my previous threads.
I'm happy, wife is happy as wife does not notice ride difference, I can still take the car to nyc riding on the 20's not have to worry about the possibility damaging the rims and stranding the family on the road.
Enjoy and let me know what you guys think.....
I still envy you guys with the 22's![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I think that's a perfect drop. Looks like the front butterflies quite a bit. You'll probably need some camber kits eventually.
What's the specs of your rims/tires your front rims seems nicely flush to the fender.
Any rubbing in the rear?

Thanks guys...
Dannie, i used
255/35/20 front
275/35/20 rear
Actually it's the rear that butterflies, the picture looks deceiving. Front seems fine
No rubbing issues as all. I am concerned about the rear drop as looks like I'll need new rear tires sooner then later.
How did you deal with your drop? Did you drop end up getting camber kits and if so what will it end up costing?
Thanks.

I think i need to get new rear rims for my car, I'm running 295/25/22 in the rear I have very minor rubbing. For the fronts I'm using 245 which is probably why mine appears more inward than yours.
I'm working with GhostMotorsports on getting some custom rear cambers for our car. It's being made as of 2 days ago since i last made contact with him. I'll let u know how it goes. I'll let him tell you the price once it's all said and done.
I'm sure I'll end up paying more than who ever buys it after me. Early adopter always get hit with the bill.

I was thinking that I can still get a set of 22's for around the area driving and 20's for the road trip's with the family. That's why I"m wondering if you think that 22's are an issue on that car?
Thanks.

No nothing wrong with them, I think my rims are 22x11 at the moment, if I went with 275 or 285 it would look ugly because the way the tires get mounted. If I went with 22x10.5 I can fit some 275 and not worry about rubbing.
For as long as I can afford it I'm not going with anything smaller than 22"

Very nice jade
.. Looks REAL good.. Got my Brabus 21's installed & absolutely HATE how it looks.. To make matters worse, since the wheels came with Nitto invo 255/30 front & 285/30 rear, the front fender gap is twice as high as the rear, & the front tire is a GotDam rubberband
.. MAN it looks like ***.. Ghost is totally out of links.. I gotta suffer through it till they get more. I'm considering putting my stocks back on.

looking at the pix of the adjustableairride and owning the ghost links. I think AAR quality is most likely better but it's about $50 more than GL. For what it does I think it doesn't really matter though. The GL feels like a $5 toy IMHO

OH *****.... I had no idea there was another option vs. GL... At this point, I'd pay $500 to fix the way it looks.. Calling them now... Tx fella's..

Go with the renntech module... I had links on before also..
The comfort in the ride is pretty much like stock even though my car is lowered more than 3" inches.. With links and 3" drop the car was super stiff and bouncy..
Im running 9x22 front +32 with 245/30-22 and 10.5x22 +33 with 285/25-22 and the small tap in the rear fenders cut off I never have any problem with rubbing...

Agreed, both do the same thing but if the wait for GL is an issue, and impatient as I am, dont mind spending the extra $$ for AARs and then thats an option. I considered the GLs and compared both, price, quality...etc. I think GL was just coming out when I was looking so I went with AARs since they were out longer. With that said and as dannie put it, they do the same, just cheaper. Good luck with whatever you decide. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

AAR Links arrived today
, but mother nature will not be allowing me to install them
. In case anyone's interested in seeing the difference in link quality of the Adjustable Air Ride vs. Ghost Motorsports links, here you go.. I've never seen/felt the GL links in person, but I can tell you the AR links shown look/feel A++. Seems like GL just plagiarized the HECK outta AAR's hard work. GL emailed me install instructions, & all the images depicted on it, are of the AAR links.. Now that's just messed up...
Anyway... Here ya go...

Took a road trip to Boston this weekend...messed up the front bumper going up to a gas station because the fronts were too low!
Anyhow, here is another picture of my ride taken this weekend...
