8-way? Rear Power Seats

8-way? Rear Power Seats
Does anyone know how MB is defining the 8 ways on the rear power seat option without the multi-controur?
As far as I can tell, the lower cushion slides fore/aft and the back cushion tilts, but only because it is attached to the lower cushion at the bottom, not independently. The fore/aft/tilt movement seems to be the same whether you push the lower cushion crontrol or the back cushion control.
I would call this combined movement 1 way, but MB may define it differnetly.
The headrests can also move - another 1 way?
Am I missing some control or movement on my car?

Yes, pushing either the seat out or slanting the backrest more is the same function. Either one will recline the seat. Your seats are normal. Don't know why Benz says 8 way either haha

Thanks. Glad to know mine is normal.
The owners manual diagram (don't know why I didn't think to look there first) shows 10 ways, but those shown with the "2" and the "5" are really the same movement in practice.
