^ LOL, so true, why not put a V12 vs V12....

Last year I took a look at the Panamara before deciding on my 2010 S550. I just couldn't get used to the ride, it's not the worst or the best. I couldn't see myself having it as my DD, so I passed on it. If I want a sports car I'll just get a sports car. Don't get me wrong, it's nice but I couldn't see myself in it after driving a S-class to the dealership to test drive the Panamara.

A Russian girl search yielded some interesting choices.

I didn't care for the PDK transmission in a Pannie turbo. In auto mode the car went to 7th gear at or below 40 mph and throttle response was terrible because of turbo lag or the transmission gas saving mode. In manual sport the car was a bit too jerky. Sport plus is supposed to be for reserved for track use and even more not fitting a four door luxury sedan. I agree that not one car can satisfy every need and an S-class and a two door Porsche is a good way to go.

Interesting! I'll bet most of those Russian wannabie brides would love a ticket to America and would jump at the opportunity to get into an S class!
Re: the tranny on the Panamera-- that would be frustrating being in 7th gear on a side street.
